This short trip happened during my last 'workation' in Porto in November 2022.
When thinking about where could we go for a weekend, Alona came up with a genius idea to rent a camper van. So we did, three of us going along the Atlantic coast all the way down to Cabo da Roca.
Surfing, running, hiking, eating, driving, and appreciating this adventure with my partners in crime: Alona and Anya.
Our first drive ended in the middle of the night when we had to search for a parking location without any communication or road signs whatsoever. So we found a quiet offroad parking north of NazarΓ©.
As it turned out, this was quite a good spot to spend the night.
Morning came fast, and with it came a gentle sunrise along with ocean breeze and waves.
Off to meet the sun and a few brave surfers!
Relaxed breakfast with a view, and off to the next location!
Baleal
Sport/chill time. While Alona was surfing, we chilled on the beach. The ocean was still warm enough to go for a quick swim which I did.
Next camping spot β Limbo do Leste.
Exploring the site.
And another amazing sunrise over the coast.
Morning surfing for Alona and Anya, Sunday long run for me, breakfast, and we're on our way to Cabo da Roca. The weather changes drastically.
A real quick walk and peek on the windy cliffs crowded with all kinds of tourists.
Walking to Praia da Ursa. The descent is a bit steep, should be careful going down.
But the views well worth it!
The way back is no less beautiful.
Oh, our camper van found a friend! βΊοΈ
Time to drive home.
Thank you for scrolling this story patiently to the end! ππ»βοΈ
