As a birthday present for myself, I went to Switzerland with fellow macpawnians. The format of this trip had a few car roadtrips and four gorgeous hikes in different locations of the country.
Our first camping spot, Jakobsbad Gonten.
One of very well-known location in Switzerland, with its picturesque meadows and cows on the hills. We were not that lucky though: 'The cows are gone!', told us a cheese seller. The views are still there. Mountains aren't going anywhere.
The next day, we went to the next camping location. This road trip led us through one of the longest tunnels in Switzerland and breathtaking serpentine roads.
A gorgeous glacier that creeps up!
Hiking around the five lakes with a never-ending view of Matterhorn.
Without driving anywhere, we just decided to hike right from our camping (Kandersteg Camper). It was a pleasant yet a bit hot day so we took a dip in the glacier lake. Refreshing!
We took the last hike from Camping Viva in the middle of the country. The best part of it was being right inside these mountains, not just looking at them from very far!
Good morning and getting there.
Thanks for scrolling this one patiently to the end, more 🏔 to come!
